Walking through the darkness to the light
Walking through the darkness to the light

She fell down a silent grey abyss,

She walked in the solitary darkness.

The inky darkness of illiteracy and ignorance.

It was only when she discovered the light,

That faint beam of knowledge that grew brighter,

She gradually realized that there was so much for her.

Life is not about standing precariously on the ledge.

It is about getting blinded by the light of Knowledge.

He sailed on the choppy waters through the darkness.

He missed all the lands, continents and islands of opportunity.

There was so much of life that he passed in ignorance and illiteracy.

It was only when he gained an education, he could truly see.

He learned more about the rhythms and harmonies of life.

It helped him overcome moments of madness and strife.

The wisdom moved him away from the edge of the ledge,

As he felt empowered by the radiant light of pure knowledge.

Always follow the path of the learning experience.

Take the time to enrich that learning at every confluence.

Share, exchange and learn from the lives of others,

Our friends, companions, teachers, sisters and brothers.

As we live, love and work in this planetary earthly kingdom,

We are part of this evolutionary and natural great wisdom.

Move away from the precipice of ignorance, with trust and an edge,

Gaining experience, love, understanding, fellowship and knowledge.
