Summer is wonderful but heat can kill

Most people love summer and I do too. I love all the seasons that we are blessed to experience in human life. There are the very cold winters, when we see trees that resemble sticks, covered in snow and frost. We have the cool spring days and the warm summers when flowers bloom, birds fly across clear blue skies. The rains come with drizzles, storms, cyclones, winds that clear the roads and water the lands as the earth celebrates once again, with new crops and plants. Autumn arrives and the leaves fall off the trees and fly away in the cold sweeping breeze. Animals and humans prepare for the arrival of a cold winter, as the north winds blow and the cold rivers flow.
Summer can sometimes be a few weeks in the West. While in the East, summers can stretch over a period of two to three months. We hear about people having strokes and falling on the streets. A number of people die with the extreme heat in the East. I have read and heard about people dying in the heat in India. There have been instances when taxi drivers have died in their cabs, waiting for customers to ride their cabs. Most homes and families that can afford air-conditioners have them installed in India. While those with lower incomes have their fans working throughout the day. The intense heat is too much to bear and several people of lower income groups in India sleep on the pavements.
Summer is wonderful, but the heat can and does kill when it rises to very high temperatures in some parts of the West and in most of the East. Countries like Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal also experience very high temperatures in summer and everyone goes down to the beach. England usually has a few days when temperatures soar and people can be seen cooling off in parks and off course swimming in the almost cool waters in rivers, lakes and pools. How do you cool off in the dead heat of summer?

Yep, and if you live in the tropics, you will appreciate the seasons more.
