Words are Magic

“Words are our most inexhaustible source of magic.” — J.K. Rowling

As a writer and reader, you must have realized the power of words. Whether words are written or uttered, they have tremendous power. Words when spoken carry a power with them, that is transmitted from the communicator to the receiver. Words written by a writer, have the power to take hold of the mind of the reader and transport, him or her to the world that the writer has created in his or her imagination.

Creativity, infused with imagination and words by a writer, has the power to make something that is fantasy, come to life in the mind of the reader. This is not all that words can do. It is through the use of words, in the right sentences, and sequences, that they form and develop into stories that capture the imagination of the readers. These seemingly ordinary words, build a world in the minds of the readers who read the stories written by the author.

If you want to experience magic, the kind that can change your mind and take you to places that do not exist in the real world, you need to read a work of fiction, like a short story or a novel. You could also watch a movie and get the same experience, of being transported to another time and place, where words create new and amazing worlds of adventures, thrillers, fantasy, fairy tales and science fiction.

Use words to tap into the magic of imagination and creativity, to create stories filled with characters, who inhabit new worlds, who face challenges, overcome obstacles to achieve the great prizes and rewards, in order to fulfil their destiny.

It is your goal as an author, writer, poet to bring those worlds into existence, using the power of your imagination and creativity, to write stories, that inspire and encourage readers to step into the worlds created by you as a writer. You as a creator can continue to tap into this magic as long as you want in life. This magical spring is inexhaustible and it has billions of stories waiting to be narrated with the words that writers of today and tomorrow will use.
