When you love your life, you don’t want to change anything. Because changing one thing changes everything!

Someone asked, “If someone offered you a button that you could press to restart your life to change it, would you take it?”
Today, February 24, 2025, at 11:14 AM, my answer would be no. I don’t have a good life, but I try to live a good one.

I know many humans who aren’t satisfied with their lives and would press that button without a second thought.
I am satisfied with all life has given me, done for me, and done to me, both good and bad. After taking the time to know and understand my life, I am happy with the outcome. I didn’t get my dream life, but my life went how it should, not how I wanted it to go. I love the route it took that led me to what I think is a better outcome.

I am content with how I live. I don’t have to cheat, steal, lie, scheme, or destroy anyone’s life to live, eat, or pay my bills. I am in a position where I don’t have to add anything cruel, harmful, or negative to our world that would harm and destroy anyone, whether they are plants, animals, or humans.
That is a gift from life. I lived a life where when life must pay me back, it’s good or life lessons that improve, not harm.
I can see the consequences and rewards in my actions, choices, and decisions even before I make them.
That is another gift from life.
I found real love, and I will not change it for anything or anyone. No sensible person would do anything to disrupt the flow of real love. Not many humans get the opportunity to have someone love them for almost forty years.
Another gift from life.
No human on the planet wants to change all of their lives, but many are unaware that change gives and changes take. They, too, must pay the piper.

All of us have something that we would love to change.
I, too, would love to change things in my life. However, I am aware of the cost of change and the value of my life, so I have learned to live with what I can’t change. Then, I find ways to create my happiness. Good and evil are in everything, and I have a choice.
Change affects every area of our lives.
We live with and among good and bad. Sensible people want to keep the good and get rid of the bad. Many are unaware that sometimes, the bad actions, choices, and decisions of others lead us to a better place. However, the individual experiencing this must be aware of their situation and life.
Many are unaware that their decisions are their lives, and their lives are their decisions. Our decisions are linked to something or someone, direct or indirect.
I have areas in my life that I want to change, too, but life showed me that change has a domino effect. Everything in our lives is connected, so one change can disturb the flow, affecting and changing both the good and the bad. Some connections are invisible. Some are connected to a feeling that helps us to make better decisions. Others are linked to an idea that someone shared with them. Pain, pleasure, love, hate, kindness, cruelty, forgiveness, understanding, etc also connects us.
I love my destination, and it’s in my best interest to appreciate and respect my journey. What I learned on my journey gave me the power to stay at my destination. My journey is packed with vital life lessons that will give me staying power. The hard part for many of us isn’t getting there. It’s staying there. Staying where we should be is not easy for many of us.
If your heart could speak, what would it say?
When you love your life, you don’t want to change anything. Because changing one thing changes everything.
