A Time to Plant and a Time to Harvest

A bountiful harvest
A bountiful harvest

A farmer plants seeds at the beginning of a season, carefully tending the soil by watering, nurturing, and cultivating the land. In time, those seeds grow into healthy crops, resulting in a bountiful harvest. Every successful harvest depends on many factors—the right season, the type of crop, fertile soil, favourable weather, and consistent care. When these elements come together, the rewards are plentiful.

Life follows much the same pattern. Some people choose to work diligently, investing their time, energy, and dedication into their dreams. They understand that success is not achieved overnight but through consistent effort. Eventually, their hard work bears fruit, and they enjoy the rewards of their perseverance.

Others, however, wish, hope, and pray for success while investing little or no effort into achieving it. Although dreams are important, they only become reality when paired with purposeful action and commitment.

Authors, poets, artists, and musicians understand this principle well. They show up every day to practise the craft they love. Whether an author writes three pages, a poet completes a verse, an artist fills a sketchbook, or a musician perfects a melody, each small step contributes to a greater masterpiece. It is this steady accumulation of effort that eventually leads to growth, recognition, and lasting success.

If you desire an abundant harvest in your own life, follow the example of the farmer. Build your dreams one day at a time by consistently doing what matters most. Just as a tiny seed grows into a sapling and eventually becomes a flourishing tree filled with blossoms and fruit, your dreams will grow through patience, persistence, and daily care.

Allow your imagination and creativity to flow freely. There will be days when you feel too tired to write, paint, compose, or create. Those moments are not failures—they are opportunities to rest, reflect, and renew your spirit. By calming and clearing your mind, you become more receptive to fresh ideas, inspiration, and the endless possibilities found within the vast universe of human imagination.

Keep planting. Keep nurturing. Keep creating. In time, your harvest will come.
